Unit Redesign Workshops
Date and time
Location
Fay Gale Studio, Hackett Hall
The University of Western Australia Crawley, WA 6009 AustraliaDescription
This four hour workshop is a great practical opportunity for UWA Unit Coordinators to experience redesigning your existing unit using best practices in learning and teaching.
As the Unit Coordinator, you will participate in a three-step collaborative process assisted by an EEU Learning Designer. This active learning workshop will allow you to explore ideas to constructively align learning outcomes to compliant assessments and develop learning activities for the face-to-face and online learning environments.
The workshop begins at 10:00am sharp and finishes at 2:00pm. There is an expectation that participants will be present for the full four hours. Please answer as many of the questions at the point of registration. This extremely valuable information will be used to coordinate the best team to assist you at this workshop and during follow-up opportunities.
To get the most out of this workshop we highly recommend the following:
- A Unit Coordinator for the unit must attend.
- Unit Coordinators are encouraged to invite as many of their unit team members as possible. Please ensure all participants register via this Eventbrite link.
- Unit Coordinators must bring agreed unit learning outcomes, assessments and the current unit outline of ONE (1) chosen unit.
- Upon registration, an email will be sent with pre-readings and resources for review before attendance at the workshop.
